If you’ve never listened to radio personality Alex Jones, I actually suggest you do, just once. Just to hear the madness he spews. He’s all about conspiracy theories and the crazier the better. No moon landing, 9/11 was an inside job and countless mass shootings (including Sandy Hook, where 20 children were murdered) were done by the govt in order to further the liberal agenda. This is what we’re dealing with here.
So you might ask yourself, other than the clinically insane, what kind of a person thinks this way? Well according to Alex Jones’ own attorney, a con artist does. Which actually fits perfectly into my own theory about most conservative talk show hosts. Feeding on the fears of millions, they say whatever is needed to keep people glued to their TV’s and radios.
“He’s playing a character,” attorney Randall Wilhite said of Jones. “He is a performance artist.”
At a recent pretrial hearing, Wilhite told state District Judge Orlinda Naranjo that using his client Alex Jones’ on-air Infowars persona to evaluate Alex Jones as a father would be like judging Jack Nicholson in a custody dispute based on his performance as the Joker in “Batman.”
According to the Statesman, Ms Jones told a pre-trial hearing: “He’s not a stable person. He says he wants to break Alec Baldwin’s neck. He wants J-Lo to get raped.”
She also referred to comments Mr Jones made about California Democrat Adam Schiff, a ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee who has also defended LGBT rights.
“I’m concerned that he is engaged in felonious behaviour, threatening a member of Congress. He broadcasts from home. The children are there, watching him broadcast,” Ms Jones said. Mr Jones had called Mr Schiff a “fairy” and said he would “beat [his] goddamn ass”.
So I don’t know what to tell you about the 60 drums of armageddon grains you bought, but Jones is a con, and you shouldn’t have quit your job.
