Alanis Morissette’s home was robbed and thieves made off with$2 million worth of jewelry.
The crime went down last Thursday at Morissette’s home in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles. The thief or thieves broke into the residence and managed to take off with a valuable amount of bling. According to TMZ, it’s unclear if other property was stolen, too.
The singer was not home at the time of the incident, which comes less than a month after Morissette’s business manager admitted stealing millions from her while handling her investments. As part of a plea deal, he copped to embezzling $4.8 million from his famous client. Though he and Morissette settled privatevly, the manager is still facing several years in prison for his crimes.
WOW! Poor Alanis Morissette! What a run of bad luck! Millions stolen by her manager then burglarized for over 2 million more…I would probably be looking in the direction of the manager if he was not already in jail. Not to sound snarky but he sure had his “Hand In Her Pocket!”
