Zac Posen is easily one of my favorite designers. Not just because he is a master at draping and fitting, but because he’s one of maybe 5 high end designers that makes clothing for women larger than a size 4. If you see a larger woman on the red carpet, there’s a good chance she’s in Posen. And 100% chance she looks amazing.
Now he’s grabbed a Penthouse in Manhattan to chill in. Listing details, which do not indicate square footage, show the two-bedroom and 2.5-bathroom penthouse, atop a stately brown brick building designed by esteemed architect Emory Roth and saddled with horse-chocking monthly maintenance fees of $4,995, features such as a carved Chesney marble mantelpiece in the living room, intricately hand painted wall and ceiling details in the dining room, and a one-of-a-kind hand crafted iron staircase that links the two floors.
But no doubt Zac will be remodelling the whole shebang, because OMG this place is a tacky mess.
PRICE: $3,500,000
I think it is stuck from when it was oginally built by the design. Eeeck!
