Billy Bush has lawyered up in his battle with NBC.
The Today anchor has hired respected LA attorney Marshall Grossman as he negotiates his exit from the show following the revelations on that infamous leaked lewd Trump tape.
Grossman, a high-profile litigator who has represented the likes of Steven Spielberg and Erin Andrews, joins Bush and his attorney Robert Lange as the host negotiates with the network over the terms of his exit.
Grossman declined to comment about the negotiations, but said that Bush was simply doing his job during his chat with Donald Trump, and had fully adhered to the “morals and standards of NBC.”We’re told that Bush, who earns around $3 million a year, is arguing that he told his NBC colleagues about the tape this summer — we revealed Bush had boasted about the tape while covering the Olympics in Rio — and NBC execs knew more about it than they now claim.
