It’s not really Celebrity Real Estate if they haven’t actually bought the place, but whispers in the housing blogosphere say Matt Damon is almost certainly picking up this magnificent mansion in Brooklyn, NY.
The $40million price tag will get you 17,000 square feet of pure luxury, 15 bedrooms, 16 bathrooms and charm for days. Damon and his wife tried to enroll their children in Brooklyn Heights’ exclusive Saint Ann’s school in August but were rejected, the Post reported. Damon also tried to buy a home 535 West End Avenue in 2012, but he was outbid.
The American Institute for Architects has appropriately called this the most beautiful brownstone in New York!
