“I haven’t figured anything out, so I have no wisdom to offer you,” says comedic superstar Amy Schumer in “The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo,” her highly anticipated collection of essays. “But what I can help with is showing you my mistakes and my pain and my laughter.”
The woman everyone knows as raunchy and always up for a party also wants people to know there is more than one side to her. “I’m so sorry to disappoint anyone who thinks I walk around at all times with a margarita in one hand and a dildo in the other,” Schumer writes. Although, she admits, “even I sometimes confuse my onstage sexual persona with my reasonable, sensible, real-life self.”
Her new book of essays, which she was paid a reported $8 million to write, releases today with great expectation and will be purchased by me IMMEDIATELY. Although it will be the audio version, which I’ll enjoy listening to with a glass of wine. Just as Amy would expect. Or so I expect she would expect. Either way, $17 on hard cover.
Plain gal who doesn’t understand that men are dogs and will hump any woman who will hump them back. ONE “one night stand” in her life? Ha,ha,ha,,ha,ha,,ha,ha,,ha,ha,,ha,ha,,ha,ha,,ha,ha.
