Remember last year, when Johnny Depp and Amber Heard headed to Australia and decided to smuggle their two dogs in without taking them through customs and following the proper procedures? They were basically told to GTFO out of the country and take the dogs with them within 48 hours or else the dogs would be taken and put down, so they left. But it didn’t end there — they actually went to trial for it, and not only did Amber get slapped with a $1000 one month good behavior bond (whatever that is), but both she and Johnny had to issue a public apology to the country as a whole for breaking their laws. And they had to do it on video.
As if this wasn’t hilariously degrading enough, Australia’s deputy prime minster, Barnaby Joyce, posted the video to his own Facebook page to show just how embarrassing the whole thing was.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Johnny Depp look more downtrodden and humiliated and I seriously can’t stop laughing. Best punishment ever – well done, Australia.
