Kendall Jenner is at the top of the modeling game, and to be honest, I’m actually a fan — well, as big a “fan” as you can be of someone who doesn’t actually do anything but wear expensive clothes and have her picture taken. If there’s something that makes one a good model, she’s got it, and I’m glad she’s doing well… and that she seems to realize that the Kardashian association is a liability rather than something to brag about. Anyway, she’s reached a new milestone in her career: appearing on the cover of Vogue. Well, sort of.
The actual Vogue cover is usually reserved for stars just a bit bigger than Kendall, so instead, she got her own special mini-issue of the magazine, in which she does a little interview and poses for a multi-page spread of spring fashion. The photos are colourful and Kendall looks great.
It’s all very trendy and super cool, of course, but my fav part is her quote about what she plans to do with her ever-growing notoriety, to which she answer, “[Giving back is] something my family has always been into, whether it’s charities or working at soup kitchens. I have a number of different issues I’m interested in, and I love animals.”
Of course, she couldn’t tell us what any of those issues are, and she failed to mention that when she worked in a soup kitchen, it was part of Keeping Up With The Kardashians and many years ago, when Bruce felt that his daughters (Kylie was, like, 12 at the time) were spoiled brats who ought to see how poor people live so they could get off their rich girl high horses. But whatever! Pretty pics!
I usually don’t care at all about the Kardashians, but Kendall is just so gorgeous ! Not trashy like her sisters. Her instagram is actually pretty cool too. She deserves her success as a model.
