Adele is basically the BFF the world wishes it has. She’s not obnoxious like Taylor Swift, she’s got a killer voice, and she’s totally down-to-earth despite being rich as shit and super famous. There’s not much not to like about her, which I suppose is why the world goes insane whenever she so much as breathes. In other words, it’s safe to say James Corden got a serious scoop in getting Adele onto The Late Late Show for his popular Carpool Karaoke feature last night.
To be fair, there’s nothing quite like watching Adele spit Nicki Minaj‘s verse from “Monster” like it’s her damn job, even if I do feel a slight bit of secondhand embarrassment for her (happens to me a lot). There’s also the corny ass opening where James pulls up and says into his cell phone, “Hello, it’s me…” Like, yeah, we get it, bro. We’ve all seen the video and heard the song like 900 times. Get on with it already.
All in all, Adele’s carpool karaoke was one of the best, if only because it was one of the lengthiest and Adele is so great. She’s clearly down for anything, which makes her a lot of fun. There aren’t many celebs I’d actually want to know or hang around, but I think Adele would be an absolute scream.
Watch it and thought they were both amazing and down to earth entertaining as he’ll!!!!
