Somehow, I must’ve missed the rumours that Selena Gomez and Cara Delevingne were hooking up that were apparently circulating earlier this year, after the two of them went to the French Riviera together in late 2014. Honestly, I never heard anything about it, so it’s completely new to me, but also obvious bullshit, so whatever. Selena loved that one, though – she thought it was great!
From Pride Source:
How did you react to those rumors?
Honestly, I loved it. I didn’t mind it. Especially because they weren’t talking about other people in my life for once, which was wonderful. Honestly, though, she’s incredible and very open and she just makes me open. She’s so fun and she’s just extremely adventurous, and sometimes I just want that in my life, so I didn’t mind it. I loved it.
Have you ever questioned your sexuality?
Oh, I think everybody does, no matter who they are. I do, yeah, of course. Absolutely. I think it’s healthy to gain a perspective on who you are deep down, question yourself and challenge yourself; it’s important to do that.
Can I just say one thing that should be obvious to anyone with a functioning brain? Just because someone is bisexual, like Cara, doesn’t mean that they immediately want to sleep with every person of the same gender they meet. For Christ’s sake, any time Cara takes a picture with someone, they’re secretly hooking up. Just like straight people don’t want to jump the bones of every member of the opposite sex, neither do LGBTQ people.
Anyhoo, if Selena was going to be a lesbian on screen, there’s someone she has in mind to play her love interest!
Your friend Demi Lovato played a lesbian on “Glee,” starring as Naya Rivera’s love interest. Who would you choose as an onscreen lesbian love interest?
That’s a long list! Suki Waterhouse – she’s a model; she was Bradley Cooper’s girlfriend.
Heh. Well, I guess she could have picked worse. Good for Selena knowing where the majority of her fanbase is coming from and doing interviews like this. She seems nice – she gets my seal of approval.
