Some notes about this week’s Best and Worst Celebrity Looks of the Week!: the Kardashians weren’t the only ones spotting a goth look. For some reason it was a strangely popular look this week.
Also, the unfairly gorgeous Jessica Chastain was freakin’ everywhere, so we’ve got a few looks from her. I still can’t quite put my finger on her style. I used to think she was about old Hollywood glamour, but that’s def not true (at least not anymore.)

If this were on anyone else but Cate Blanchett, I would likely mock them. But I’ll be damned if she doesn’t pull it off. She’s just so…regal. It’s an ugly gown that on her becomes…stunning, dare I say? DARE I?
Lupita Nyong’o looks amazing, as always. Not a huge fan of the shoes, feel like they cut her off with the length of that dress, but that’s just me being picky as usual.
Alexa Chung looks like a funeral arrangement.
Lily Collins goes for a bold gothic businesswoman look. I actually like the makeup, but I think the suit is a bit much. I could dig an oversized blazer with tapered pants, or wide legged pants with a shrunken blazer, but not this.
Okay, so here’s my thing. Usually, I like this look: animal print coat, graphic tee, and skinny pants. But for some reason, seeing it here on Ashley Tisdale, it looks kind of…tacky? Maybe it’s the hair?

As an entire look, I like the 2nd one best, but I love the dress on its own in the 1st photo. What a fun, pretty neckline. The last dress is kind of bad to me…looks like it was thrown together from a sheet and some pins.
Cara Delevigne looks like some pissed off fifteen-year-old who was forced into going to prom.
Carey Mulligan has a similar goth ballerina look, and I like hers better — it’s more sophisticated.
Victoria Justice. Amazing body, terrible dress. WTF is up with the explosion of safety pins. And on peplum?
All black everything on Kirsten Dunst. Really love the blouse. Might like it better with denim over leather?
Kate Hudson. I don’t know what it is, exactly, but this looks just tacky to me.
Lady Gaga at the airport. LOL. That hat. Also, why the turtleneck? Why is that necessary? Love the mod look and colors of it, though.
Srsly can’t believe that Kelly Osbourne was on Fashion Police. Like WTF is this?
Julianne Hough. I’m reminded of Britney Spears’ “Hit Me Baby One More Time…” music video. It’s like she’s dressed as a fancy schoolgirl. It looks like a Halloween costume. Like…well…”Sexy Fancy Schoolgirl.”
Oh hay, speaking of ’90s schoolgirls, here’s Lindsay Lohan doing her best Cher Horowitz. I…ain’t even mad.
Lord help me, Dakota Fanning‘s outfit is giving me life right now. Seriously. Love this. Preppy grunge!

I dunno. I’m surprised Jessica’s 2nd pic with the turquoise dress didn’t get into your best list. She has a rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrockin’ body and the dress suits her!
Otherwise, OK. I think I liked some things more than you and liked others a bit less than you did. but a good panoply, albeit most within the light goth –> goth –> heavy goth spectrum.

WTF??? Kim never smiles anymore and always does that God awful, unflattering slicked back pulled back parted in the middle look that is just atrocious…and her boos are friggin ridiculous looking. she’s pregnant and it’s not sexy or attractive…they are practically touching her chin. she’s an idiot. Kourtney looks cute though.
