I’m going to be honest with you: I don’t really “get” Burning Man. I know it’s basically just an excuse to experiment with psychedelics in the desert for a weekend and get dust up your ass crack, but like… is that it? Maybe there’s nothing really to get about Burning Man, but the free love festival in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert seems like my worst nightmare in every sense of the world. One celebrity disagreed with me, however, and that’s Katy Perry. She embraced the chaos, wrapped a scarf around her face, and got out there on a Segway that she eventually wiped out on.
Well, that looked like… fun? Or whatever fun’s complete and total opposite is. But look, Katy may have been a first time Burner, but there’s one celebrity who’s been going for years and basically it gives me life that she goes back time after time: Susan Sarandon. Because of course Susan Sarandon loves Burning Man. That just feels right in my soul.

Burning man has become the playground of the rich and famous with their own private huts and what have you. Think kinda crap confirms that without a doubt. Not that I don’t love the rich and famous, or that you make your own living off of them like a parasite, which you do, but I don’t want to be hanging out with, or being near, either. No, I wouldn’t attend. And the price of entrance to burning man has shot up astronomically as well.
