Casey Wilson and Happy Endings creator David Caspe got married last year, and then Casey got pregnant, and now they have a baby! Casey gave birth to the couple’s first child, a little boy, this week, it’s been reported.
We don’t really know much else – no name, when he was born, etc., but we do know that Casey’s probably thrilled not to be pregnant anymore, considering she had a really rough pregnancy, from the sounds of what she told Fit Pregnancy in this month’s issue.
“I felt tired and sick and in a fog, like an extreme hangover, until about week 16. I thought, ‘Surely, this is the worst part of parenting.’ Then I remembered when I was 15 and my mom said I couldn’t go out, I pulled two giant brass wall sconces out of the wall with my bare hands. There are rougher waters ahead, I fear.”
Despite her rough first trimester, the Happy Endings alum couldn’t wait to become a mom. “I thought I wanted a girl, but I almost felt relieved when I found out I was having a boy,” she told the mag. “Having lost my mom, and having had such a close mother-daughter relationship, I felt like somehow, I wasn’t ready for a girl.”
Congrats to them – I love me some Casey Wilson (and Happy Endings!) so I’m happy for her!
