Matt Bomer came out as gay in 2012, but he was dating his longtime partner Simon Halls well before then, and in fact he actually married him in 2011 and just never told anyone until now.
The news came out in a new interview with Details, and it’s not particularly big news, but it’s worth celebrating. Bomer and Halls have 6-year-old twin sons and an 8-year-old son together and seem really happy, which is sweet. He seems like such a genuine and unassuming guy, which is pretty rare in Hollywood, so good for him – and for his family.
