I always forget that Cher Lloyd is a "thing" in America, now, but indeed she is. She's done a big tour! Lots of people love her! Her songs get played on the radio! So it's totally relevant news, I suppose, that she went ahead and got married to boyfriend Craig Monk on Monday. Is Monday a weird day for a wedding? It seems like one.

The "Swagger Jagger" singer announced the news on her Instagram account, sharing with the world a black-and-white photo of the happy couple on their wedding day. The bride opted for a strapless gown covered in lace and wore her hair half down in loose curls with a long veil. Further details about their wedding day haven't been shared yet.
Lloyd and Monk, a hairstylist, began dating in 2011 and confirmed their engagement in January 2012.
Well, isn't that something? Cher is only 20, so I have a feeling this is all very ill-fated. But it could be the marriage of a lifetime, what do I know? Best of luck to the happy couple and all that.
