Music Video: Christina Aguilera and A Great Big World – ‘Say Something’

Christina Aguilera and A Great Big World (stupid name) performed their single, 'Say Something' on The Voice a couple of weeks ago and it really freaked me out because I swear I've heard this song somewhere a LONG time ago and I can't figure out where. In a movie? A TV show? I don't really listen to the radio besides Radio 1, so I'm not sure where it could have been, but anyway, it's an okay song, even if it is a little dramatic/cut out for a Nicholas Sparks movie. It's nice seeing Christina doing something that's a bit more scaled back and isn't all over the vocal charts. As she often coaches her contestants on The Voice, sometimes less is more and you don't need be running scales every five seconds to prove that you're a good singer. Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to watch The Notebook.

Is Ed Sheeran One of the Sexiest Men Alive?

ed sheeran Adam Levine may have run away with the title, but Ed Sheeran was also nominated for People's Sexiest Men Alive... competition? Honour? Whatever. If he seems like an odd choice, don't worry - he thought so too. "One of the reasons I said yes to being in this issue is because it's quite funny. Utterly ridiculous! I don't think anyone sees me as a sex symbol. I don't know who the voting party are for People, but thank you. It's very kind. But I'm sure I'm the only person on this list who has a belly....

Jennifer Lawrence Is Really Awkward, Shits Her Pants A Lot

jennifer lawrence david letterman I like Jennifer Lawrence and find her willingness to be awkward and a bit eccentric in a public forum to be rather endearing. Having said that, her interview on The Late Show with David Letterman even made ME slightly uncomfortable. She seemed manic, overly hyper and couldn't seem to slow down and just relax. I'm not sure what's up with her - maybe this is just how she is all the time (I admittedly have read more interviews with her than I've watched), but man oh man. You've gotta hand...

R. Kelly Can Even Make Sandwiches Sexual

r kelly R. Kelly is one of those guys who's a total freak and an absolute hot mess, but you also kinda can't help liking him anyway because he's so hilariously ridiculous and also super talented at the same time. At least that's how I feel, and this video from Rolling Stone only reenforced that feeling. The mag had a sit down with Kellz and since he was bragging about how he can make anything sound sexy, they put him to the test and asked him to make songs on the spot out of random phrases. The r...

Hugh Jackman Had Skin Cancer

hugh jackman skin cancer Well, sort of. In fact, he had cancerous cells removed after having a mark examined by doctors. Hugh Jackman posted a photo of his bandaged nose on Instagram yesterday and used the experience as a chance to encourage fans to not only wear sunscreen, but to take control of their health by seeking the opinion of a medical professional if you happen to find yourself in a similar situation. Here's what he posted on his Instagram page: Deb said to get the mark on my nose checked. Boy, was she rig...

Carrie Bradshaw Herself Is On Instagram

Sarah+Jessica+Parker Sarah Jessica Parker, AKA Carrie Bradshaw (the original), is officially on Instagram, guys. She's been taking lots of photos of things she found on the street, like this Elmo loofah: Captioned: "Tempted to pick him up and bring him home. But quickly imagined and hoped for its rightful owner re-tracing steps to a reunion." Her profile photo appears to be a closeup of her eye. SJP, you so MySpace '08. Love it. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before she follows Gwyneth. Being on Instag...

Aaron Carter Is Totally Broke

Aaron+Carter Aaron Carter may have beaten Shaq (old school reference right there) but that's all he's got -- he's so broke, he's filing for bankruptcy. It's kind of sad. Dude's got some major credit card debt and owes the IRS, big. He's ever in search of ways on how to make 10k fast. Hopefully he doesn't get into a Lauryn Hill situation. From TMZ: According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Aaron's assets total $8,232.16. Here's the BIG problem. His liabilities total $2,204,854, which include a $31,166 Am...

Turns Out Amanda Bynes Is Mentally Competent To Stand Trial After All

amanda-bynes Amanda Bynes won't be getting out of standing trial for her DUI case. Though earlier reports suggested her lawyer would fight against it, saying she wasn't mentally competent, that didn't seem to fly, because Ms. Bynes will indeed be present. Here's more from TMZ: Amanda's case was in Mental Health Court this AM, and the judge read the court-ordered medical evaluation of the actress, and determined she is now competent to face the DUI charges. Amanda's lawyer, Rich Hutton, did not object to the findings so the criminal case -- which was put on hold -- will now go forw...

Zappos Happy To Let Kanye Shit On Them

Kanye+West Kanye West threw another temper tantrum, this time aimed at Zappos, the online shoe retailer. He said in a podcast interview (via Starpulse), I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos that he’s trying to tell me what I need to focus on. Meanwhile, he sells all this sh-t product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling shit product. First of all, how the hell did this conversation even come about? Was Kanye trying to order shoes for his Gigli music video when this happe...

Jon Hamm Doesn’t “Get” Katy Perry; Tells Kids To “Get Off His Lawn”

Jon Hamm is 42 but he sounds more like he's closer to 92, and fully admits to it. He says he doesn't "get" current music like Miley Cyrus and One Direction (fair) but lumps Katy Perry into it (not fair). From Contact Music:
I'm getting older, I'm slowly morphing into that guy who stands on his lawn and shakes his fist and shouts, 'Get off my lawn!' All I can is that I don't get Miley Cyrus, I don't get Katy Perry, I don't get One Direction ... I don't get why that's a thing.
Let me tell you something, Hammy. Sir Mick Jagger, who is like WAY older than you, totally gets why Katy Perry is a "thing"...if you get what I'm saying. I don't think it's fair to lump Katy in with One Direction. Also, ignoring that it's Miley, "Wrecking Ball" is a great song. (Video, not so much.) Yeah, I said it. Come. At. Me.

Justin Bieber Isn’t Sorry About Anything, Is All About “Amazingness”

justin bieber not sorry Justin Bieber has done a new exposé with The Hollywood Reporter, wherein he basically said he's not sorry about anything he ever does and that he's not a dickhead at all, he's just "all about amazingness". HAHAHAHHAHAHA. Here are some choice quotes below: His thoughts on "black culture": "I'm very influenced by black culture, but I don't think of it as black or white," he says. "It's not me trying to act or pose in a certain way. It's a lifestyle -- like a suaveness or a swag, per se. But I don't really like to say the word ['swag'] anymore. It's ...

Is Michael Douglas An Underestimated Actor?

michael douglas Because he thinks he is. Michael was interviewed by GQ for their Men of the Year issue, in which he admitted that he thinks he's had a pretty solid career and done a damn good job of everything, only to be underestimated. By whom, I'm not sure - movie studios? Fans? The world? "I've always felt a little underestimated, personally. I've got a pretty good batting average over 40 years. Sometimes maybe it looked easy." Michael also spoke about how fucked up it was that US studios wouldn't rele...
