Nicole Kidman seemed to have it all, as the cliché goes, after winning an Oscar, but in reality, she felt “empty.” She had just gotten divorced from Tom Cruise, and I guess that was on her mind more than the award in her hand. Here’s what she told Harper’s Bazaar Australia, via Us:
[Winning an Oscar] “can show you the emptiness of your own life, which is kind of what it showed me. I was having professional success and my personal life was struggling.
Thankfully she’s doing a lot better now with the personal life, so hilariously, her professional life is just eh. Here’s hoping that Grace Kelly movie can save it a bit.
