  • People seem to complain about Timbaland, but lets face it, everything he’s touched, from Justin’s album to Nelly’s album, and all the way through HIS own album has turned PLATINUM. People are buying and requesting to hear his stuff, so stfu. :P

    Madonna can sell millions WORLDwide by HERSELF. Great example: her last album, Confessions On A Dance Floor only sold 1.5mil in the States, however, it went to sell over 12million worldwide!! To put that into perspective, Fergie’s The Dutchess, contained 3 number 1 hits(US), but only sold 6million albums worlwide… half as many as Madonna’s.

    So, if Madonna can do that by herself, without mainstreem production, think of what she can do when she recruits Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Pharrel, Akon, Kanye West, and many more.

    We can’t really judge the latest leak, since we haven’t heard a high-quality version. But, for anybody to think her new album is gunna be crap, think about this for a second; Timbaland, and Timberlake wouldn’t be caught putting their names on something that was trully crap. They just wouldn’t do that. It would destroy their careers. So, I think we’re guarenteed a HOTT album from Madonna very soon.

    Shes earned my respect and attention.
    Shes proven she can do anything, pop, rock, ballads,musicals, electronic and now hiphop dance beats?
    Her voice (like her looks) transforms into anything she wants, thats pure talent and creativity!

    Something no one – not Janet, Fergie, Christina, JLo or Celine can ever do. Madonna has passed the test of time.

  • OK guys lets get real, Madonna always makes great albums, this is the reason why “she” not Janet is getting into the rock and roll hall of fame this year, Janet never even got a nod. Lets also be real, Janet is all 100% vocal recorder she can’t sing live and she has used Michaels fame to make a career for herself, if not for Michael there would be no Janet. Madonna started from below the bottom and basically homeless and according the the IFPI has sold a staggering 350 million albums worldwide and this makes her the second best selling artist in history and by far the #1 female artist, NO one has more #1 singles on the United World Chart than Madonna, “NO ONE!” Even by decades Madonna has more #1 singles on the World Chart than anyone! And guess what not even Elvis comes close to Madonna’s single sucess on the World Chart. Even being banned by radio in the USA has not stopped Madonna from moving a decent amount of albums here and if you go by “SALES” on Billboards sales chart she has 36 #1 selling singles in the USA far more than any other female artist, she just gets screwed by radio over her views, sad but all true.

  • The song sounds great from what I can hear..looking fwd to hearing in better quality as well as the rest of the album….Madonna never fails to suprise me..just when you count her out…..I can’t say that I am impressed with Janet’s comeback attempt..the song “Feedback ” is very repetitive and too reminiscent of stuff she has done in the past…Janet needs to stop playing it so safe and take risks like Madonna. Also looking forward to what mariah has in store .

  • Personally, I think no one can follow in Madonna’s footsteps. Britney tried but she’s failing. Christina was shunned by the media but she was supposed to be the new Queen. Don’t compare Mariah Carey to Madonna because Mariah’s in the R&B world. Both are at the top in their own genres. Kylie Minogue is just a follower. Kelly Clarkson is failing too. I guess no one’s going to be the new Madonna and that’s why I can’t say goodbye to her. Everything she does rocks my world.

  • god i didn’t heared the track. but surely it’s going to be a huge #1. while reading these coments i noticed that other readers came along with other great artist, like Mariah, P!nk, Kylie, Kelly Clarkson, Christina and britney. they all have some different taste in music. take Mariah for example, she begin her career with love & slow songs like Hero, but her last album was an r’n’b style. she’s a great singer. Christina and Kylie are the princess of pop. but NO ONE can do it like the QUEEN herself MADONNA. she is just one fuckin Lady. man, i love that woman.

    My personal opinion that may not match yours.

    I am not found of the Janet single at all.

    The new Mariah is actually pretty good! I have slowly grown to like Mariah although I would never put myself in her fanbase because I don’t attack other artists or would ever like to be called a lamb.

    I think Mariah has a good chance at top 10 with that single… Maybe number one … the only reason I think it might not make it is because summer is coming and everyone is coming out of the cage and they want something bold.

    I predict “4 minutes” has everything going for it over “Touch My Body”.

    It’s a superstar single.. and it’s bold and summerish!

    I wouldn’t doubt it if Madonna replaces Mariah at #1 would that not be kewl? or Maybe prevent her from getting there… Not that i am into charts… I like both songs but I can’t believe how Mariah fans attacl other artists

    It’s been spun on the radio already.. it’s actually really good.. it is more of a duet. Then a Madonna solo single .. but it’s HOT HOT HOT…

  • OK, for anyone who says that Madonna’s new track sounds like a “reject off Britney’s last album,” you simply aren’t listening. I’ve listened to “Blackout” several times (hell, I even purchased a copy, even though I can’t stand Britney), and not a single track on it sounds anything like this Madonna song. “4 Minutes” is hyper, frenetic and pulsing, while most of the stuff on Brit’s record sounds kind of tame and over-polished. THIS is the song of a true artist. Now Janet’s “Feedback” is DEFINITELY something that sounds like it came right off of Brit’s last record, but Madonna just doesn’t do that kind of thing.

    It’s fine if you don’t like Madonna. Nobody says you have to. But if you’re going to let your feelings cloud your judgment, then there’s just no use in participating in this discussion. Be objective. Anyone with ears can hear that there are virtually no similarities musically to anything off “Blackout.” I mean, come on. Really. Sheesh.

  • Holy crap I just heard the high quality version of the song.. and it’s freaking amazing.

    The low quality radio rip.. drowned madonna out. On the high quality both of there voices are the prominant part of the song. It sounds much more like Madonna in the HQ version.

    You have to here it.. This is set for major success.. in the USA.. The breakdown at the end it over the top!

  • I think this track is fabulous.. It’s pulls out all the stops! Timbaland at his best.. more infectious and loud then his past hits.

    It’ a Madonna, Justin, Timbaland single.. which is in your face and they are all there. I think it’s a great first single for Madonna. These are the people she worked with and they all are great on this record. Wicked track the best of the Divas new singles easy. Every part of the song kinda is the hook.. I am not sure which part I like best but it’s all good stuff! The breakdown at the end it hotter then hell.

  • People say the HQ has leaked, yet its nowhere to be found. All i see is French Radio rip….where do you find the HQ???

  • I feel sorry for people that are to ignorant to see the genius of Madonna. Maybe one day you will see and appreciate that she has not only created music that has topped the charts for 25 years, but oh so cleaverly hides messages in them for us to discern. Many of her tracks have them, haters are just to stupid to find them. (not surprised!)
    4 minutes to save the world for instance has references to the Doomsday Clock that reflects the state of the world. The Clock is set to 5 minutes in the UK but Madonna is saying its more urgent. We only have 4 minutes until it strikes midnight (the end).
    She references the Law of Attraction in her lyric “if you thought it, it better be what you want” and telling us that the power to change the world is in our hands, what we think will become.

    So yes Madonna, we only have 4 minutes to save this world..maybe we can save some of the idiots like the ones commenting on here, along the way.

  • The Finished exactly 4 minutes to the secound version has not really leaked on the internet. It starts with Timbo.. and end with a a breakdown with timbaland with the last words.

    The version people are refering to is the remastered version of the french radio rip. They cut out the DJ and brought out the vocals. They added a loop in the remastered version on the secound part of the main hook. That version is not even close to quality but it is better then the horrible french radio rip.

    I have heard the finished Mix at Y100 during the one and only listens we got. The track is in your face and full of hooks. Very euphoric with a total dance anthem feeling. Alot of elements are not there in the re-mastered version. It’s builds up gradually in every section of the song. The male voice (which is Justin from my Knowledge from on listen) that is underlying in the main hook is really impressive in actually 4 minute version.

    This is one of Timbaland best produced singles and this has pretty much been the word from all the luck ones who have had the opportunity to hear it legally in advance.

  • To refer this track to a past Timbaland production, as alot of blogs and people have.

    My opinion along with co-workers about this single. It is closest to “Sexy Back” but faster and more enegenic. That is the only single we could really connect it with. Nothing on Timbalands album is this hard or fast. It sounds nothing like anything on Nelly’s cd and I am suprised people on other sites have been making a reference to “Maneater”.

    The only connection is the production style that is it. Timbo has his elements and skills that he uses on every record just like a vocalist.

    The track reminds me of what a good Star Wars Anthem would be.

  • Madonna fans have no need to worry… Two of the other three single we heard “Give It To Me” and “Miles Away” are both pure Madonna tracks with huge hit potential. The last track we had a listen to was “Beat Goes On” which I personal hope gets released. It’s fantastic.

  • I already have Madonna’s track in 2 versions (short and long) and i have to say i love it !!! But i have Janet’s Feedback too and i like that song as well, and im a great fan of Britney too. I dont think you should hate on other people just becuz u dont cope their music. These are all succesful artists starting with Madonna (25 years of music carrier – hats down) and Britney and Janet who are successful as well, yeah they had ups and downs but hey, Janet’s track is going crazy on the bilboeard, i dont need to say anything about Britney (Gimmie More & Piece of Me – still hits) u need to respect them as artists who left a strong impression on the world of music cuz they wouldnt be as successful if there werent people who love their music and radios that want to play their songs. Thats all i have to say…

  • I can’t wait till the album drops. 4 Minutes is nothing like Madge has done before. It’s fresh, unique, and fierce. Long live the Queen. I’m not even going to waste my time hatin’ on the other artists, because whatever I say has been said before. Although, I’m totally holding back here, it’s just not healthy. There’s other more serious problems in the world than dissing artists versus artists. Come on now, are you like 5? We should all celebrate the new upcoming songs from all this individual artists.   • I was honestly nervous when I first found out that Madonna was going to collaborate with Justin and Timbeland. I like all three, but didn’t think their music would be a good mix for Madonna. She has always been into the electronic thing. I myself have been a fan since ROL. That being said, I first heard the song when it was released here on Kiss radio in Boston. I LOVE IT! Who knew she could pull off a hip hop sound. She sounds awesome next to JT. If the other tracks sounds similar, I will buy it for sure. She’s timeless.
