Taylor Swift is like the Kate Middleton of Nashville (just go with it), so the city is always bestowing her with plenty of songwriting awards and other accolades... and now they've allowed her to open her own music school! The Taylor Swift Education Center opened on Saturday (bit weird, but again, go with it) and is part of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The whole thing cost a cool $4 million to create.

Have you ever heard of a more perfect pairing than Susan Sarandon and Downton Abbey? Maybe it's just because my first memory of her was as Marmie in Little Women as a kid, but period dramas just seem to suit her. Shit, re-cast her as Lady Grantham, because Elizabeth McGovern is fucking dreadful, sorry to say.
In any case, PBS will be running Downton here in the States, as per usual, and Susan has been tasked with hosting Return to Downton Abbey, a special that will give a "tantalizing taste"...
Sandra Bullock is lovely and really sweet and one of the least offensive stars in Hollywood and I've been wanting to see Gravity for EVER (I need to hit up that IMAX - is it worth it?) so it sucks that she dealt with depression while shooting the film. The nature of the the whole "stuck in space" storyline meant she had to spend a fair bit of time in an isolation tank - we're talking 8-10 hours some days - which really took a toll on her mental and emotional state.
