I didn’t even know Casey Wilson and Happy Endings creator David Caspe were dating, but then, I don’t know much about Casey’s personal life. I do, however, know that Happy Endings is one of the best sitcoms in recent years and the fact that it was prematurely canceled is an absolute travesty.
In any case, congrats to the happy couple. Here’s what Casey told US Weekly:
“I got engaged over Labor Day Weekend to my boyfriend of two years and I’m thrilled,” the 32-year-old tells Us. “He proposed with a beautiful family ring the first night we spent in our new house. I was, of course, crying slash wailing and then my dad and brother and his family came up the driveway and then everybody was cry/wailing. It was very special. A perfect night.”
Awesome. Also, when can we get Casey back on TV and why can’t Happy Endings find another network? It seemed like that might actually happen at one point.
