Last week, it was revealed that Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are taking a bit of a break in their marriage, which has a lot of people upset/sad/whatever. Of course, Michael is now saying that everyone is making a big deal out of nothing and that there’s actually no issue there, despite his earlier admission that they were going to “take time to evaluate and work on” their marriage.
While promoting Behind the Candelabra in Berlin, here’s what he told The AP about the state of affairs at home:
“I have a crisis at home? No I think the press has a crisis. We are fine. My wife and I are fine.
“We’ve taken a temporary separation but the press, it gives you stuff to write about.”
Well, since you’ve taken a temporary separation, you’re definitely not “fine” – you’d still be together if that was the case. Still, I don’t really think the ins and outs of things are anyone else’s business. I don’t know much about these two either way, but I hope they work it out… however it’s best for them.
