I don't know why I'm particularly surprised, but the first promo for Glee's upcoming fifth season is surprisingly... upbeat. Obviously much of this was probably filmed before the death of Cory Monteith, and of course the show doesn't revolve around him/his character Finn, but it is a very odd sight to see the usual carefree singing, dancing and tomfoolery considering all that's happened.
I'm not a Glee fan and have never regularly watched the show (though I do miss The Glee Project on Oxygen - that show was so addicting, sad to say) so I have no feelings about this either way. Apparently the show will be back next month with a two-part Beatles episode followed by the episode dealing with Finn's death before going on hiatus. Egads. />
