Glee‘s fifth season is going to be a bit of a strange one, what with Cory Monteith’s death and the fact that it is, after all, Glee. However, the show must go on, as they say, and once back from the planned hiatus, some big things are in store, including Demi Lovato joining the show for at least a six episode arc. Apparently she’ll play Dani, an artist who befriends Lea Michele‘s Rachel and Naya Rivera‘s Santana in New York.
From TV Line:
According to sources, Lovato (who turns 21 on Tuesday) will play Dani, a NYC-based struggling artist friend of Rachel and Santana’s. She will also interact frequently with Adam Lambert’s incoming character, and the pair will have several musical numbers together.
Oh right, I forgot Adam Lambert is joining the show, as well. So is Glee going all Will & Grace? I mean, I know they’ve always had “guest stars” and stuff, but take it down a few notches, guys.
I like Demi well enough, I have to say, so I’d be interested to see how she does on the show. Not interested enough to actually watch it, but you know… never say never. This is her first big acting job since Sonny with a Chance.
