Taylor Swift said, “We are never ever getting back together” and Lisa Kudrow echoed that statement when she dashed all hopes of a Friends movie. I think we all knew it wasn’t going to happen, but we had the audacity of hope. There was a video floating around online of a teaser for a Friends reunion (“Friends. The One With The Reunion. Thanksgiving 2014”). But alas, it was just a fan vid. Here’s what she told CNN, via LA Times:
There was never a ‘Friends’ movie. Ever. So I’ve always known it’s not happening. [But when I saw the video] I went, ‘Wait a minute, was I not invited? Oh, my God, maybe there is one, and I wasn’t asked to do it.’ I even had a moment where I believed it because everything around it looked real. It was a good setup. [But] The creators have put them to rest. NBC has. I don’t know who else needs to say, ‘It’s really not happening.’
I guess this means they…won’t be there for us. But you can see Lisa Kudrow on her new webseries Web Therapy.
