Miley Cyrus just can’t stop partying, but then why should she? She’s young, she’s (probably) single, she’s rich and loves twerking… sounds like a recipe for a good time (or my worst nightmare, but I’m trying to put my mind at one with the kids these days). But listen, just because Miley likes to do Molly and back that ass up from Calabasas to the Hollywood Hills doesn’t mean she’s still not working hard.
From MTV News:
“People more think of me as someone that – like what ‘Can’t Stop’ is really about, they think of me as a party animal,” she said. “Which I am – a self-proclaimed party animal. But I’m also the hardest-working person you’ll ever know.
“People will remember – moms of course remember their daughters watching [Hannah Montana], and kids remember watching the show, but that’s not who they think I am.”
…
“The biggest thing people say to me is, ‘I love that you don’t care what people think’, because I don’t, but in the best way possible.
“I could take all the constructive criticism in the world, but I don’t really care… Of course I want people to love my music, but at the end of the day I make music for me. I make music because I love it and like I say, I put good energy into it so it will be all good.”
Really, Miley? You’re the hardest working person? I mean, I don’t doubt that you do “work” (though lately you seem to be working towards being a cheap Rihanna knock-off), but let’s be realistic here.
oh blowhards! keep strokin’ that ego.
Classic narcissism.
She is who she is, but all I see is her is as yet another self-absorbed human being who is using her big mouth to talk about herself. Too bad she couldn’t be passionate about something actually meaningful and helpful to our collective human condition.
