Ah, Charice. If you watch Glee or happened to have accidentally left Fox on and inadvertently got sucked in by an episode of that shit show, you probably know who she is. Maybe only vaguely – I think she was Rachel’s (Le-UGH Michele‘s) competition when she transferred over from another school?
In any case, score one more for the gays, because during an interview on the ABS-CBN show The Buzz on Sunday, she came out as a lesbian:
“Yes, I am a lesbian. But to those who can accept me, thank you very much. We are all equal, whether you are gay or straight.”
Nice! Welcome to the fam, girl. She put a video up on YouTube shortly after, thanking everyone for their support:
“I just wanna say thank you, personally… to all the people supporting me, to all the people who are still there for me.
“Honestly, I’m very, very happy. I can’t explain how happy I am right now hearing all [these] positive things.”
You can watch Charice’s video of thanks below:
Rather than troll the airwaves for anything good, I have some suggestions:
1: On Velocity they have a 1 hr recap each day this week of the Isle of Man TT races. That’s on real city streets with STONE walls and so on. Only REAL MEN (and a few women, yes!) race here at speeds up to 200 Mph.
2. Mad Men. Of course.
3: Borgia (NO, NOT THE BORGIAS – but “BORGIA”). 2nd season was more raucous than the first. A european production, but in English. On Netflix only.
4: The Vikings – sorry, you just missed season 1.
.. and I can’t wait for season 3 of Homeland…
OK ’nuff said.
