Catherine Zeta-Jones sought treatment again last month for her bipolar disorder, entering an unknown rehab facility in an effort to get it under control again. Luckily, she seems to be doing a lot better now and left rehab yesterday, according to her husband, Michael Douglas.
From People:
“She comes home tomorrow,” he told PEOPLE on Monday. “She’s doing a really good job of getting balanced. I’m proud of her.”
That sounds a little condescending, but I’m sure he didn’t mean it that way. As a couple, CZJ and Michael have been through quite a bit, what with his cancer and her mental health struggles. They seem to have a pretty solid relationship, which is always nice to see, especially in Hollywood.
Here’s hoping Catherine is back on her feet and feeling better. Bipolar II is no joke and can really knock you for a loop (yes, shout out to Demi Lovato on this one), so here’s to health for everyone.
