Kate Moss is still doing her thing in the modeling world long past the general age of expiry, but then, she’s a supermodel and still has a youthful visage despite decades of hard drug use and starvation and who the hell knows what else. But hark, hear ye, ladies of the world! Put down your CQ10 creams and your tightening serums, as Kate is here to reveal the secret of anti-aging. You ready for this? Just… put your face in a bowl of ice.
From Stylist:
What’s your morning beauty routine? Any advice for us?
If I wake up looking tired and puffy, I fill a sink with ice and cucumber and submerge my face. It tightens everything making you look and feel instantly awake. It is a bit Joan Crawford – but it works!
Right, so that works for like, an hour and then you go back to having sunken eyes and wanting to go back to bed. I guess if you do that every day…? Who knows. Anyway, let’s hear Kate talk more about her look:
Who is your ultimate beauty icon?
I’m into that glamorous Studio 54, ultra-glam era. Like Jerry Hall. I love that Seventies girl who was sexy – she had the hair, the lipstick and the all-round glamour; they were ready for anything – most importantly, a good time.
I’m always ready for a good time! Mostly that good time involves chicken tikka masala, a cuddle and going to bed by 9pm. And the great thing is, I don’t even need lipstick for it!
Can’t hate on Kate Moss, though. In terms of fashion, she’s an icon with longevity and staying power that defied the odds (she’s really short and models are usually really tall, guys, okay?) to become that, so good on her. Plus, she always makes me nostalgic for those middle school CKOne adverts.
