No, but seriously, shut the f-ck up, Madonna. Once and for all, shut the f-ck up.
According to Madonna’s personal trainer, who did a recent interview with New! magazine, Madonna’s most-lamented body part is her thighs. She, like, totally hates them or whatever and thinks they’re totally disgusting. From New!:
“We’re all born with an area we’re insecure about and she thinks it’s her thighs so we spend a lot of time moulding and sculpting. She works very hard on it. She’s in the gym five or six days a week as well as being a full-time mother. So if I feel a bit low I just look to her and think, ‘If she can do it, I have no excuse’.”
So, OK. It’s not as drastic as maybe I made it seem, but seriously? Even though I’m not hard on the sinewy, dried-out look that Madonna is famous for as of late (because really, her body’s totally different than it was back in the eighties, back when some people would say she’s in her “prime”), it’s completely preposterous for her to say that she should be “unhappy” with a certain aspect of her body when it comes to weight or fatness or whatever. She’s a step-and-a-half away from being bodybuilder caliber. I’m not saying that’s a good thing, but I’m not saying that it’s not, either.
Excuse me while I go measure my thighs, which are also my “sensitive” area and which look nothing like Madonna’s. And I’m not saying that’s a good thing, but I’m not saying that it’s not, either.
