I didn’t watch X Factor last night. How horrible, right? It was Britney‘s first night, and I wanted to support her, I really did, but it just didn’t happen. My apology letter is in the mail right now, ok? If Britney will forgive me, than so can you.

But since I didn’t watch it, I set out this morning to find a whole bunch of clips so that I’d be able to tell you guys all about it and how Britney’s doing and if Demi Lovato was doing something stupid with her hair again or whatever. But this was the first clip that I watched. And I can’t do it anymore.

First of all, you guys remember Don Philip, right? He did this song with Britney, from her first album:

Ok, now watch the X Factor video again. Am I the only one crying? Because I’m crying, like, a lot. Just thinking about what poor Don has apparently went through, and knowing what Britney’s been through and also thinking about how I’m pretty sure my wisdom teeth are finally coming in and it hurts is just really doing a number on me. How are you guys feeling right about now?

  • Yeah, this sucks. It’s true that the guy isn’t very good, but you can see how hard it is for Britney to say that, *especially* since she’s made it so far (granted, she’s had her ups and downs, but still) with a singing voice that’s not all that great either (I have to say I love her for her performance ability, though).

  • That was fucking hilarious! But shame on the producers for making poor Britney go through that. She looked like she was about to have a nervous breakdown.

  • I was at the X-Factor filming in Oakland when Don auditioned…
    MY GOD. You did not see a half of it on tv… that guy was on stage for at least 20 minutes. He was obviously really disturbed and the whole crowd felt uncomfortable.
    They stopped filming for a while. Britney was really offended by the guy.
    He really was a freak.

  • he looked and acted like a straight drug addict. it was really sad and i’m not too sure why they decided to air that.. awful!
