This is hard. I love Jennifer Lawrence, ok? You guys know that. I love her. I think she’s a very talented actress, and I think that she seems like a cool, fun person. She’s wonderful. But that doesn’t mean her styling is always wonderful.
Please don’t hate me, you guys, but I don’t like this dress one bit. The shape of it is ok, but those colors? Those colors are awful. The same goes for the hair and the makeup. I actually like Jennifer’s dark hair better than the blonde, but this whole hairstyle, the totally flat ironed, limp, stick-straight hair has never looked cute to me. And also I hate pointy-toed shoes. Oh god, don’t hate me.
But, ok, there are some positive things. That darker hair that Jennifer’s sporting now? I think we all know what that’s for. They’ve started shooting Catching Fire*, the sequel to Hunger Games, isn’t that exciting? That’s good, right? That means that in only one year, two months, and eleven days, we’ll get to see it! Hooray!
*By the way, I finally finished reading all the books. Catching Fire was probably my favorite, so hopefully this movie is as good as the first one. Also, I’m way, way more concerned about Sam Claflin as Finnick now, not because I don’t think he’ll do a good job, but because he has to do a good job. For Annie, you guys.
it would have been cute if they stopped at the pink and left off the dark bottom.
Exactly my thoughts.
it´s ok , shes always pretty :)
Funny how tastes are different, huh? Catching Fire was my least favorite!
The dress isn’t the worst…but she’s mos def wearing the wrong shoes with it. Turns it very bride’s maid-y.
I think the dress is okay — although it probably would be cuter if it stopped after the pink. The shoes are what’s awful, though. And yeah, the hair and makeup are meh (although personally I like her better with bouncy blonde hair). That said, she’s still more gorgeous than anyone I’ve ever met in person.
Gotta agree with you Emily. Don’t like it. The dress, the shoes, hair, make up. None of it does anything for her.
Gorgeous dress! The colors are what make it so cool. And I like the hair and make up too.
She’s great, but you’re absolutely spot-on about everything. Maybe she was trying to impersonate Jessica Biel?
Can I just say that even though the styling is awful her body is looking incredible? Should be a comma in that last statement I can’t figure out my damnable Kindle!
I’m 100% in agreement! I can’t believe that that dress was her idea…she looks like she got in a paintball fight and lost real bad. I like that darker hair, but it looks like the sylist just plopped a glob of axle grease on her head and combed it through! I’d fire my “team” in a heartbeat….and don’t worry about that damn Kindle; it’s right there near the bottom of the pile of redundant computer crap, like Twitter.
Love it!
And I’m a guy – for the record.
Love the dress, burn the shoes, re-do the hair. And oh God I’M SO EXCITED FOR CATCHING FIRE you don’t even know. If everything goes as expected I will be living in China when it’s released and you can be sure I’ll be flying all the way to Australia for the release. I AM DYING uugghh and to think they may be filming a scene right now, oh God. I’m such a fangirl.
I love the dress, but I think her styling of it is all off. The dress is sort of fun and playful with all the colours, but the hair & shoes are too severe.
I would love to see this dress with strappy shoes in one of the colours of the dress and a casual up-do for the hair.
