“It’s tough, it’s very very tough. But if you have good friends and your family’s support, it’s just something that’s a horrible situation but … hopefully it will heal and you try to get through it but it’s something that is a reality in life. … It’s important to get back and try to start reliving your life, otherwise you can go into a spiral.”
Sylvester Stallone on how he’s been dealing since his son, Sage, overdosed earlier in July.
The question of “How are you doing” was asked during one of the promo tour stops for The Expendables, and this was Sylvester’s answer. And the only thing I really gleaned from his response was that he’s definitely a troubled individual, and I don’t think he’s at all OK with what’s been happening, nor do I think he’s going to continue being “OK.”
What a damn unending mess all over the place.
I hope he really does have a good support system; losing a child–let alone a child with issues such as addiction–oh god, the bag of guilt, shame, what-ifs that is carried around.
