Six months after very quietly debuting wedding bands at the 2012 Oscars, Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied exchanged marital vows in a Jewish ceremony at a private home near Big Sur, Calif., Us Weekly can exclusively confirm. The 8pm wedding took place beneath a chuppah–and in the dark! No other details were immediately available.
The Oscar-winning actress, 31, and French-born dancer-choreographer Millepied, 35, are parents to a 13-month-old son, Aleph.
I really look forward to seeing Natalie‘s wedding dress, which is something that will probably never happen. Natalie Portman has never really been the Paris Hilton type, getting photographed at least three times a day, but ever since she got pregnant, she’s had a super low profile. Like, I think I see new photos or new gossip about her maybe once a month. Maybe.
But, you know, good for her. It seems like she’s really enjoying her little family out of the spotlight, and you can’t really hate on that. But you know what you can hate on? The cold hard fact that you will probably never see gorgeous Natalie Portman in her wedding dress. You can hate on that all day long.
I would have loved to see her in her wedding dress. I’m a big fan and I hope for the best. I DO wonder what she sees in that light-bulb head Millepied and I DO wonder how much the massive income and massive fame difference will strain the relationship. Anyway, congratulations to Natalie.
