Blind Items: Who’s an Age-Faker?

This pretty actress is suddenly everywhere, appearing in half a dozen films over the past couple of years. But while she played a 17-year-old in a stage play just a few years ago (just before her film career really started taking off), she is nowhere near 17. She is actually in her mid-30s. In real life, that might not be so important. As an actress, though, it gets tougher to book those desirable younger roles once you pass 30. She has never talked about her age in any interview, and after years of battling to keep her real age off of IMDB – and then having the birth year change three times in the past couple of years – her real age is finally listed there. Boy, is she p*ssed! But she won’t sue to get it removed. That would just bring more attention to it.

Initially I’d want to say Courtney Stodden. LOL. Because that would be ridiculous, and massive amounts of ridiculousness are le spécialités de la maison around here. But no, there could be no possible way that this could be Courtney Stodden because a) she hasn’t been in a half-dozen films period, and b) there is no film career to speak of, unless you want to talk about ‘Courtney’s Countdown’, which, NO, I do not.

No, my first real thought was Rachel McAdams, because I remember there was this big hullabaloo a few years back about girlfriend trying to keep her age out of the press and pretending to be younger than she was and all that taking much younger roles thing (ex: Regina in ‘Mean Girls’ at twenty-six when Lindsay Lohan played her ‘Mean Girls’ role at seventeen) that went on for awhile. Plus, I like to talk about Rachel McAdams. Thing is, though, I don’t think it could be her, because she just doesn’t strike me as someone who’d be hung up on a silly little thing like age. She’s an environmentalist, for crying out loud.
