In my teenagerhood, I paid a lot more attention to print campaigns. Is that weird? But yeah, I’d tear out and keep any fashion spreads I liked and then pin them to my door. I feel like Versace was always really good (especially those latter-90s Courtney Love ads).
But Ashton Kutcher? Hmm. I don’t think I’m feeling it, sorry.
The Huffington Post:
The jokey “Two And A Half Men” star, who actually began his career as a model, has formed a close relationship with Colcci, the Brazilian fashion brand for which he’s walked not one but two runway shows. He’s also posed in Colcci ad campaigns, including these July spots, with pal Alessandra Ambrosio.
Sure, Kutcher is handsome, but this print campaign just isn’t my cup of tea. Maybe there is too much “star text” here? Maybe I simply can’t take Kutcher seriously anymore. (OK, I just reread that last sentence, and, uh.)
Another thing I can’t take seriously: pairing a seersucker suit jacket with cuffed denim pants and, what are those, boat shoes? I appreciate that he is dressed for Mediterranean weather, but I also feel like, seriously, where is the yacht? Where, please, is the yacht???
But anyway, yes. I am looking at Alessandra Ambrosio really worriedly, like, “Honey, all that denim won’t protect you for long! Run away!” It is an awful lot of denim, though.
Oh, well, I guess I like her dress and that shirt.

I would like it with a male model in it.
……”take a good long look at the mutha-f*ckn’ boat!” Bet this picture really rubs the salt into Demi’s wounds!
