Holy effing shit, Nick Cannon. Get some rest, buddy.
On Wednesday, Mr. Mariah Carey revealed that he was hospitalized last weekend: doctors found blood clots in Cannon’s lungs. Also? He has an enlarged heart.
This isn’t Cannon’s first health scare, either. In January, Cannon discovered he is suffering from kidney disease. Good grief.
In lieu of Cannon’s latest medical woes, Cannon has announced he is leaving his radio show, “Rollin’ with Nick Cannon,” at NYC’s 92.3 NOW. Good thinking—you’re a father, now, mister.
Cannon’s official statement indicates he plans to continue hosting his syndicated weekend show, “Cannon’s Countdown.”
“Even Superman has to sleep,” the statement concludes.
The full text of Cannon’s statement, reprinted from 92.3 NOW’s website:
Under doctor’s orders, I have been asked to put my health first and cut back on some of my professional commitments in order to allow my body to get the rest that it needs to keep up with the demands of my multi-tasking schedule.
It has been an absolute pleasure working with CBS Radio and the 92.3 NOW morning show team and I would like to thank them for their unwavering support. I will continue to host my syndicated “Cannon’s Countdown” weekend show and look forward to contributing to 92.3 NOW whenever possible. Even Superman has to sleep.
Superman. Riiight.
Superman also had a staff of 20 taking care of his kids while he lived off his wifes money.
he made 25 million last year …without his wife….try again buddy
Nick?
You are tweeting from the hospital bed?
How cute – you really do care.
Hey Nick (John.)
Your Net Worth is $25M supposedly, not your annual salary.
Oh, sorry, you are including Maria’s coattails.
ok net worth is 25 million point is …..he does not live off his wife …you cock suckers
Yeah, I’m not exactly the biggest Nick Cannon fan, but he works harder for the money than Meredith Viera, even. Dude didn’t have to marry Mariah. I think he might have even—gasp!—wanted to.
Just my two eyepennies.
P.S. I’m not Nick Cannon.
