Which Backstreet Boy Recently Checked Into Rehab?

Did you guess Nick Carter?  If so, how dare you?  How can you look at that precious, angelic face and accuse him of anything more intense than maybe snuggling a puppy just a little too tightly or eating the last of the heart-shaped cupcakes he made for you?  Do you non-believers feel sufficiently bad about yourselves?  Good, because you deserve it.

Ok, but of course it’s A.J. We all knew that, right?  At least all of us who covered our rooms in pages of Tiger Beat knew it, and that’s enough.  Yeah, we always knew that A.J. was the bad boy of the group, and he’s been in rehab twice already in 2001 and 2002 for issues with alcohol and cocaine abuse.  Let’s hope the third time’s the charm.

And because I know you’re all super worried, I just wanted to assure you guys that A.J. isn’t going to let this affect the NKOTBBSB tour, and here’s his statement to prove it:

“For personal reasons, I’ve checked myself into a rehab clinic. With 2011 being a busy year for Backstreet, I want to be healthy and perform and sing for people at my very best and happiest. None of this will affect our current tour plans and I look forward to seeing everyone really soon! Thank you for all of your support and respecting my family and friends privacy during this time.”

I’m going to send positive energy to A.J. by lighting incense and listening to “All I Have to Give” on repeat, but you guys can do whatever feels right for you.
