This is what’s so great about Amy Winehouse: She is all of us at our most down moment at all times, but she’s still buckwild. Take these photos for example. Amy was photographed dragging her ass back to her apartment at 11:30 this morning, plopping down on her steps looking like a worn-out mess, and she just sat there listening to her voicemail.
What woman who has even the smallest streak of crazy in her hasn’t had a morning like this? I’ll tell you right now that nearly every Sunday A.M. between 2002 and 2008 looked something like these photos for me. And you know, sure, maybe I shouldn’t praise this type of behavior because Amy is a drug addict who I think has really poor self-esteem, but you have to love the normal abnormalcy of these pics.
We are all Amy Winehouse. Amy Winehouse is all of us.
“She’s is all of us at our most down moment at all times, but she’s still buckwild.”
I’m not an American so I’m no expert on your education system, but I am pretty sure you must have studied English at some level. If I’m right then you must have been in a room with an English teacher for a few hours every week for several years, which is why I am so confused after reading this sentence. The only possible explanation I can come up with is that you are on the same sort of medication as Ms Winehouse, or that you are so incredibly good looking that you were able to finish high school and get a job writing on looks alone.
Oh Claire, lighten the fck up!
Wouldn’t that “good-looking” be hyphened? Just sayin’. Team Molls, yo,

FML.
i’m so sick of people saying. “just saying”
Hey Claire,
Thank you for being so well-balanced and judgment-free in your response. I really appreciate your feedback.
It’s a typo, bitchface. I’ve fixed it.
Molly
Molls you should “typo” more often. At least the grammar nazis throw you a bone.
hhahahahahahaaaaaa
Made sense to me… like poetry, you know? Remove stick from bottom.
This is a common mistake. To see someone blend the ideas of “she’s” and “she is” may be annoying, but I think you’ve put too much thought into it. Seriously.
Do you even have anything to say about the content? This site promises celebrity gossip, not perfection and eloquence in writing.
On another note, Molls’ point is so true. I’ve been there. All my friends have been there. I feel so entertained by / concerned for Amy W. every time I see something written up about her.
Been there, done that.
Same.
It’s the Walk O Shame – it was college at its best and worst for me.
“We are all Amy Winehouse. Amy Winehouse is all of us.”
I agree. Good quote against prejudice, against her and against other genuine, exceptional human beings who are nonetheless also still just that: human beings, like everyone. Why people think they are better than her, is because they are hypocrites, which, if anything, makes them less than her.
My guess is that every single housefly in the entire United Queendom is headed toward her crotch.
