Jessica Simpson has a new show coming to VH1 called The Price of Beauty and I will most definitely be watching it. Why? I love Jessica Simpson because she’s quirky and adorable and I’ll watch anything she does. Also, it looks like it might be good for women or something.
The show has an interesting concept, especially for something put out by VH1. Jessica travels around to different countries to find out what their idea of beauty is. In this preview, we see Jessica visit a “fat hut”, where one woman has been living for months getting as fat as possible for her husband. She also visits Paris, the fashion capitol of the world, and tries her hand at runway modeling. Clearly they did their best to cover all ends of the spectrum.
Do I think this show will be particularly educational? Probably not. But it seems better than Taradise.
I’d really like to see this. I want to like Jessica Simpson, I really do. However, she’s come across as incredibly stupid for a very long time. I hope this show has her come across as someone not so flighty.
You know, I feel bad for Jessica Simpson. I think it must be horrible to be “famous” and yet, when someone asks what she’s famous for, the answer is pretty much, “Being dumb. Being a laughingstock.
Being a blonde with big boobs.” I hope that this latest (of many) career choice works out for her.
She can actually sing. She should do something like Britney Murphy did with Oakenfold. Maybe Thievery Corp. or Weekend Players.
Just call me Clive.
Ugh! I couldn’t sit through the trailer, that dent in her chin is a tab frightening. It’s tucked between her fat cheeks and it’s not a good angle. I bet her profile is amazing. Still, I hope it works out for her.
Her younger sister’s career has really over shadowed poor Jessica. Ashley is married, a mother, has appeared on Broadway, and has ‘checked’ the weight ‘thing’ at the door.
That Kristie Alley show looks like it might be worth a glance.
The thing about the Kirstie Alley show- she was saying she has her own weight loss business? Is she kidding? I’m not ripping her for being fat, but who in thier right mind would buy her products or services for weight loss???
I liked the show the first time when it was called “An episode of Oprah”….
I’m actually looking forward to the show..almost impressed
I think Jessica is cute naturally. I’m definitely going to check the show out.
