By now we’ve all seen Heidi Montag’s freakish metamorphosis-by virtue of 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day– into a realistic approximation of a human being with big tits and large lips. Fellow Hills cast member Kristin Cavallari recently revealed her opinion on the procedures, saying that she supports her friend’s decision to go under the knife. And under the knife. And under the knife. And under the knife. And under the knife….
“I think if she’s happy, it’s her body, she can do what she wants,” Kristin says. But then she turns right around and in the next breath sneers, “It freaks me out. There isn’t pressure to get plastic surgery in Hollywood. There is pressure to look a certain way but you can’t obsess about it. I’m lucky to have my family and good friends around me, and I know what’s really important.”
Ah, the beauty of true friendship.
huh? this post is dumb. kristin wasnt even really being bitchy.
You must have GREAT friends.
That ‘pressure to look a certain way’ does imply or at least include plastic surgery. I don’t think Kristin was being bitchy either towards Heidi. However, her comment is self-centered and a bit smug. I think Kristin overlooks the fact that she herself has probably colored her hair, whitened her teeth, sprayed tanner all over her body, loaded up makeup on her face, and controlled her diet and exercise to be thin due to that pressure to look a certain way. We all change ourselves to some extent because we want to fit in and be attractive no matter how many good friends and family we have around us or grasp on importance we have. Kristin is just genetically lucky. Had her nose been crooked, her chin pointy, or her lips thin and flat…I bet she would have done the same being that she wants a career in the highly competitive world of Hollywood.
Her hair needs to be cut by 4″.smart and smug but at least she is confident.
This chick is so gonna look like Donatella Versace in about 30 minutes.
haha – my first thought, also, was how much she looks like Donatella!
