I Guess Britney Got the Kids for the Holiday

Kevin Federline and his girlfriend, Victoria Prince, were spotted at an Ed Hardy promotional event in Brisbane, Australia. I think it’s phenomenally strange that Kevin Federline is still famous anywhere, let alone all the way over in Australia. But I guess if you’re an American celebrity and you’re looking to be photographed this week, the place to be is anywhere outside the U.S.. Because no one in the U.S. is working this week, the photo agencies are making everybody crazy trying to push photos of foreign people you’ve never heard of at, like, a red carpet event in some random Italian city. (Where the hell is this Rome place? Is it near Turin?)

This is the closest thing I have to a photo of an American celebrity today. Enjoy. Here’s hoping Stephanie Pratt goes a little overboard with the “tryptophan” tonight and gives us some news to report tomorrow.

  • Anything is news in Brisbane!

I once lived there for 9 months, I knew it was a bad sign when the front page news in the major newspaper was: “Dog adopts kittens”

But other than the fact it’s a bit laid back and sloooowwwww – it’s actually really nice :)

  • There! You have discovered the answers on two major questions:

    1. Why the people of the world dislike Americans.

    2. Why you guys will never get a book deal.

Firstly, I am aware that you are being sarcastic about not knowing/caring about anything outside US, yet it rings oh so true – and by your choice of words you’ve proved that you mean it (“unknown celebrities”, etc). Let me tell you, the World doesn’t give much shit about American celebrities, or even about American people for that matter. We, the non-Americans, simply find it a sign of bad taste to show it all the time. We just ignore you.

Secondly, you might think that using “like” is cute, but it’s most definitely not – it’s boring. If you want to be a successful published writer, work on your eloquence. Not that writing about celebrities shows much ambition to be the above, but just a thought.

On a positive note, my sister in law loves you, Beet. (She is from LA, of course)

Oh, and by the way – is that a blog only about celebrities, or also about actors who have actual talent?

  • Let me just clear up that Federline is NOT a celebrity in Australia. The fact that he’s in an Ed Hardy store should prove that. Plus the fact that the guy in the background isn’t giving a fly f* (like most Australian’s approach to many American ‘celebrities’) We have standards, you know! haha
