Power of Women Luncheon Has Actual Powerful Women In Attendance

Variety's 1st Annual Power of Women Luncheon

Yesterday in Los Angeles was the 1st Annual Power of Women Luncheon hosted by Variety and Lifetime. When I first read about the event I rolled my eyes thinking “Who would attend that? It’s probably going to be Tori Spelling, Carmen Electra and Tila Tequila sharing a table in the corner and trading tips to maintain relevancy and unhealthy eating habits.” Well, turns out your ol’ Molls is a big idiot. Not only was the turn out amazingly A-list, but everyone was looking fabulous. Check out the gallery below to see Christina Aguilera. Oliva Wilde, Jamie Lee Curtis and Christina Applegate looking fresh, beautiful and confident.

  • So are you saying that the Power of Women lies in the ability to cause men to pitch a tent in their pants? I’m not really sure what other ‘power’ these women have in common.

    • i concur.

she totally OWNS her hairstyle. she’s known what looks good on her since the 80’s and has never strayed. she’s so hella-confident.

plus, i must say, jamie lee stopped the sauce just in the nick of time to dodge that cursed ‘booze-rampaged-my-looks’ bullet that has claimed many a hollywood goddess like:

      *playing taps*

      – kathleen turner
      – melanie griffith
      – farrah fawcett (rip)

      way to go jamie lee!

      :-)

  • I assume that to write for EB/ZL, you have to have at least some sort of higher education, right? Molly, you and Maria-Mercedes need to retake (if you even took them at all) your basic journalism and research paper classes, because the two of you make so many snap judgements and write half-cocked articles based on what YOU -think- (without researching the topic) that you’re quickly doing your reputation a disservice. If I were you, I’d be embarassed by what I’ve written – where’s the content? Where are the facts? Oh, you probably don’t like to bother yourself with such trivialities, since they’re sOoO old-skool and it’s so much -*edgier*- just to say what you think, and pass it off as fact.

Pssst, your youthful ignorance is showing.
