Whitney Houston sang(?) Tuesday morning for the Good Morning America Central Park concert and had a surprisingly talented back-up singer: her daughter Bobbi Kristina. It’s a good. Damn. Thing.
It’s never a good sign when the first thing a singer does before singing a note is apologize, but that’s just what Ms. Houston did. And like every single other ill that this world faces, it was all Oprah’s fault. “I’m so sorry. I did Oprah. I’ve been talking for so long.”

She sounds better then I ever could have, but she definatly isn’t the same Whitney. She definatly isn’t hitting those high notes, the drugs took their toll for sure. Such a shame, she was one of the best.

I wouldn’t say terrible…she’d make it through on American Idol. But…having said that, I think she will always be looked upon as someone who did not respect, or take care of, ‘her gift’ – which she has said was a gift from God (Oy…).
If she’s not careful – she might enter into has-been territory.

haha i want to see you freaks behind the computer screens to sing in front of an audience like that, on live t.v., with the whole world watching and holding its breath, to hit any one of those notes without your voice to crack.. yea there were a few rough patches but overall she still can outsing most all of our “artists” out today… rhianna??? cassie??? jessica?? madonna????? john mayer?? heidi! haha…. it was one song ..one performance ..let the woman breath… she got off CRACK for god’s sake… that in itself is a huge milestone… haters!

Kudos for getting off crack (whatev), but time to find something else to do with the next half of her life.
Everyone has had some type of down fall in their life, Only the strong survive. Whitney God Bless you. Go for it you will make it put God first and foremost. I’m just concerned because she still drinks? I dont know any addicts who can drink and stay clean. My wish is that WH comes all the way clean for heself, her daughter and selfishly, us. Like Michael, she has so much more to offer us.
