After an accident while performing “Love In an Elevator” (too awesome) at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota yesterday, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler found himself being airlifted to the closest hospital after suffering neck and shoulder injuries. Tyler was initially assisted backstage until it was realized that the aging rock icon was in need of more serious medical attention.
The event’s spokesperson told the Associated Press “He was good-natured about it. He was in good spirits when he got in the helicopter. He was talking and joking with the physician.”
It’s been a rough couple of years for Tyler, which included rehab stints for both himself and his daughter Mia, so we’re hoping that he’s on his way to a speedy recovery and able to reclaim the stage in time for Aerosmith’s upcoming Canadian tour scheduled for this summer.
The Universe works in such magical ways… that song is so putrid and pathetic. Unfortunately Mr. Tyler had it coming. Sorry.

Wow “Liser” your pretty passionate about Steven. It’s cool I guess but is it totally genuine though? Your not some illegitimate offspring of his are you? Your mom wasn’t some “Banger Sister” groupie type who got knocked up in the toilet on a tour bus are you? Just curious. Oh I noticed you said “since 1973”. Maybe your not the kid but instead the one who was “trained” by the band.
He didn’t break any bones or receive any lacerations but unfortunately he fell face first into the crotch of a Biker Whore (aren’t they all?) who had just been vaginally lubed by the entire Sturgis Biker Community (haven’t they all?). The fact that his tongue was out from being exhausted didn’t help. His physicians are currently consulting with NASA in regards to finding a suitable solvent to effectively remove the “GUNK, SLOP, SLIME, GREASE, HAIR…..etc. from Mr. Tylers face and airway. As a “stop gap” measure they have accepted help from the “SHAM WOW” people to soak up the vomit, and tears of Steven. Your prayers would be most welcome during this very difficult time. Thank You.
