I used to watch a show about people going up for parole and it showed them asking the board to parole them and the board’s reasoning why or why not parole was granted.
The thing that always got me is none of those guys (it was a men’s prison) ever mentioned the crime as “what I did” or the victim as “who I hurt (robbed, raped”, whatever). It was “what happened.” Or “the incident that happened”. No responsibility taking whatsoever. Sounds like Mr. Brown is using the same tactics.

What CB did was horrific, and I believe he knows it, and is sorry and ashamed (per video – even if rehearsed – they don’t like him speaking spontaneously because he sounds too country). This happened one night; he is not a chronic “abuser.”Are you going to brand him forever as being that? And let him do the charity thing – it does bring the abuse issue front and center, which is good (if its good for Chris’s image, thats LESS IMPORTANT).
