They are able to pack a venue because of all the indulgent parents spending the grocery money on tickets for their whining, bambi-eyed tweens. I am the “mean mom” and refuse to do this but PLENTY of my daughter’s friends are “lucky their mom loves them enough to take them to see NICK!” Yes, that is a direct quote from my abused child. :)
