Artie Lange, best known as the comedian who replaced Jackie Martling on Howard Stern’s radio show, was arrested in Tom’s River, New Jersey this afternoon.
Lange, who was banned from HBO live events last month after making homophobic remarks, also wrote the book “Too Fat to Fish.” Too bad that he is obviously too stupid to know that drinking and driving is never a good thing.
This really sucks because he had gotten himself cleaned up in rehab and was clean for a while.
He’s suffered with addiction for a long time.
Love Artie and hope he gets better but i think he will end up killing himself on accident.

Arte has serious problems. I hope he gets the help he needs before it’s too late. Unfortunately, you can’t help someone who isn’t ready to be helped.
Hopefully this was only booze and Howard can make him get serious about his life soon. He’s so talented but he’s got that addiction problem.
He is a pretty funny guy and was great on Mad TV.
If you have a death pool going I recommend you add Arty to your list. It is a shame though. He seems like a guy that is very troubled and despite his crude jokes appears to have a soft sensitive side (like he is damaged goods).

Poor Artie. It’s really hard to hate this guy — such a care-free, lovable slob. He’s made me laugh many a time on Howard’s show, he’s a great raconteur, and overall I think a nice guy. However, I just don’t know if he’ll ever get his s*** together until it’s too late…kind of sad.
