I’m proud to say that I haven’t watched a “cycle” of ANTM since model Paulina Porizkova became a judge. I’m still a Janice Dickinson girl, through and through. (And wasn’t Twiggy in there somewhere, too?) Anyway, I guess Paulina’s not a judge anymore, as she told Craig Ferguson that they fired her on her birthday and told her how much she sucked.
“The reason I was told I was fired was because, it seemed, that America’s Next Top Model has gotten too fat and they needed to cut some fat and the fat was me,” Porizkova said during her interview. “So I figured it was either that or my gigantic huge ego. Which I wasn’t aware of until I was told by the producers that I have an ego problem.”
Um, so, let me get this straight here, Tyra: After 12 seasons, there has been no need to replace J. Alexander, Jay Manuel or Nigel Barker, but we’ve gone through three iterations of fellow female judges? I doubt the ego problem lies with Paula. I think Tyra Banks wants to be on top … alone.
Did you see that Tyra was on Rachael Ray talking about how she was sooo glad she didn’t win homecoming queen (or something like it) in high school because she would be a big-headed bitch now if she had. ???

i wasnt a huge paulina fan, but she wasnt that bad, way less annoying than tyra. at any rate twiggy is still my favorite, but there is a certain bitchyness lacking without janice.
i liked her, though her demeanor was very cutting in a sort of “the truth hurts/nothing is as hilarious as the truth” kind of way.

I think she (paulina) was let go because of her comments such as “she’s too old” or “she’s a little big” sounding like it’s discriminatory. I believe she has a BIG ego like the rest of the peeps in the Showbiz industry.
Modelling is a business, it would be unprofessional of her to NOT judge the girls on their physical appearance, age, impression, etc. I think it’s Tyra’s problem to be honest; she either doesn’t want someone taking attention from her, or she wants to keep the show ‘fesh’ by having a new judge every few cycles. The Jays are her friends for years and I actually kinda think she fancies Nigel! Plus the other female judge has always been a model; Ms Jay is a runway coach and Nigel was a model but now he’s a photographer

Paulina…you did not fit. I haven’t watched the show since Twiggy left. Paulina may be a fine model but that show of judges need to have chemistry. AND IT WAS NOT THERE SINCE TWIGGY. Dont’ take it personal..it just wasn’t a match. As for as Janice Dickinson, now that’s who has a ego problem and there may be possible conflict between the personalities of her and Tyra…but it is Tyra’s Show.
