Beefy Saint Oprah, friend to absolutely positively everyone in the entire universe as long as they hold her personal belief system, spent a large part of her night hanging with First Lady Michelle Obama last evening at Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World dinner. I actually find it surprising that the centerpiece survived and wasn’t consumed in the wake of O’s feeding time. And yes, I am aware that my yet-to-be-written book now has no chance of being Oprah’s Book of the Month Club pick-I’m at peace with it.
Oprah’s minions were there such as Suze Chiclets Orman and Gayle King. Also, all the wenches from The View appeared amongst the sea of black dresses as well as Claire Danes, Jimmy Fallon and his wife in yet another sleeveless dress, Kate Hudson and two other names that I’ve just been dying to put next to one another: Billie Jean King and Ann Coulter.
thank you wendie, for doing what you do…
Speaking of Oprah…go to her website to get a free meal from KFC
why do Americans always get to have all the fun????
I take it you’ve already been on her website to get your free meal? And called up all your inbred cousins and relatives to do the same too? It’s a pitty you can’t have her billion dollars though…
Why- have you gone on her website to get your free meal? Bet you even called up some of your inbred cousins and relatives too. Pitty you can’t have her billion dollars though…
Some of us, moi for example, really don’t care how much Oprah weighs. I do actually feel sorry that despite her spectacular wealth and success, she doesn’t feel at ease in her body. Maybe that’s why she’s in the advice-giving business – she’s like the person who gets a degree in psychology in order to self-treat (no pun intended).
And kudos to a famous woman who buys her own bling – God bless the child that’s got her own! I like Candy Spelling to have a little competition. And diamonds show up beautifully on brown skin. Power to the Oprah!
am i the only one confused as to why everyone is in black and white except gayle? why does she get to wear such an offensively bright green dress?
cuz she’s gayle, bitch!
(sorta like britney….i’m britney BITCH…..get it? not really??? it was funnier when i first said it to myself…sorry…i’ll stop typing)
Seriously what is the deal with you guys and the obsession with Jimmy Fallon’s wife’s arms? I started reading this blog because I was tired of how mean Perez was, and now you guys are just as bad!
She really should learn to wear like a sweater or something, seeing the little rolls squeeze around is not all that appealing.
Besides, it does say EVILbeet.
Oprah Winfrey is an amazing woman. The fact that she is not perfect is what? A problem?
Her causes are my causes. Her open mind has opened the minds of millions – thank god for it!
This is a gossip site, so you can say good things or not so good things. Say good things about this woman.
You wouldn’t be where YOU are without HER.
you’re rather beefy yourself wendie
I know that having a fabulous First Lady really doesn’t accomplish anything…. but it sure doesn’t hurt!
“as long as they hold her personal belief system” – I think that’s true for lots of people… I mean, that’s why you don’t like Jenny Mccarthy, right?
That snapped that shot of Ann Coulter right before she finished morphing back into human form. Check out the hand – it’s still in claw form!
Ugh…I can’t stand Ann Coulter. Bitch…disgrace to women.
Can the writers explain how they feel they can promote their other website as a “feminist” website when they regularly ridicule women for their weight or upper arm size? I’d appreciate it.
Bravo Wendie for taking the high road and not stooping to the predictable ‘black hole’ joke instead. And regarding what ash said, I personally think you’ve got one hot avatar.
Is Oprah The Obama Administration’s answer to Karl Rove? We will be referring to her as “The Architectress.”
Also, watch out Gayle King, because Michelle is stealing your thunder.
I make no apologies when I say that I FUCKING HATE Oprah. I used to live in Chicago and watched her show every night until she had Shawn Hornbeck, the boy who was kidnapped from Missouri, on her show. She had the fucking nerve to ask a boy, who was only 14 years old, if he was sexually abused by his captor. I found this appalling, outrageous and unnecessary. She should be ashamed on her to ask such a question with a televised audience.
You seem pretty smart and witty Wendie. It’s a shame that you don’t use your talents for more than putting people down. And for ridiculous reasons too…
I happen not to be too keen on the Oprah Winfrey Show either. But it’s good to be able to see things objectively sometimes. Nothing is ever all good or all bad. I think most grown up adults are this way.
