No, not Lindsay. Not yet.
Those disgusting people who made the disgusting Domino’s YouTube vids have been arrested! The charge was “contaminating food distributed to the public.” You can check out their mug shots above. And get this — the chick has a record!
The chick, Kristy Hammonds, has a criminal history that includes a conviction for sexual battery last June and convictions for possession of stolen property and breaking into a vending machine. How does a chick get charged with sexual battery? (We’re actually talking about this topic over on our sister site, Zelda Lily.) She’s expected to post bond today. The dude, Michael Setzer, posted bond last night and had no comment for reporters as he left.
If convicted, Hammonds and Setzer could be sentenced to four months to one year in jail. Serves them right!!!!!
Oh, but I have to say, I have a new respect for Domino’s. Not only have they handled this situation with PR genius, they also have a pizza tracker! I was whining last night on Twitter about how my Pizza Hut pizza was late and I wanted to know EXACTLY WHERE IT WAS and a bunch of people told me that you actually CAN do that on the Domino’s website. Pizza Hut! Get on the ball!!!
Did these people really think they weren’t going to get in trouble? What losers! These people are at least in their mid 20s, right?. And they’re fucking working at Dominos.
Actually they WORKED at Domino’s. They’re a bunch of losers. Obviously they wanted to get caught. Why would you videotape it? Unless they’re that dumb, which I wouldn’t put it pass them.
I read that they’re in their 30s!! I figured only teenagers would find farting on a sandwich amusing… well, it’s amusing, but no one smarter than a teenager should actually DO it, let alone document it.
Just wondering, is sexual battery the same as sexual assault? Or is it more along the lines of a sexual assault plus a battery charge? Either way it’s a horrible thing, I just didn’t know if there was a difference in the two terminologies.
Also, they look WAY older in those pics than they did in the video. Must have been the visors, ha.
Mugshots can really age a person I’m sure.
I hope this makes people never go to Dominos again- they have always been huge pro-life supporters and for that I will never be a customer!
Well, the founder has, not the company itself….but same thing, really. If profits made from the business are going to pro-life groups I’m all for not eating there. Especially after this disgusting revelation.
I hate to think how many fast food places are guilty of this, though…. makes me never want to eat out again.
What “t” said. I’m pro-choice, and frequent many pizza spots, none of them Dominos!
I think this talk is so stupid. I am pro-choice myself but would never not eat somewhere because their founder is pro-choice. Can’t everyone have their own opinion? Im sure there are many many many things you buy that are made, owned, or run by people involved in things you personally disagree with but hunting them all down to make sure you dont give them a dollar is time consumeing and leads to people being reluctant to express their own opinions. I bet you didnt look up the founders of all the products you purchased in the last month did you?
Thanks – my thoughts exactly. Let’s base all our dietary purchases on the political beliefs of a particular company’s CEO.
I agree yeayea. I am not that narrow-minded that I would not eat somewhere b/c the founder in pro-life.
Although… if some company’s founder was a known bigot or homophobe, I would probably avoid it.
* i meant i would never not eat somewhere simply because the founder is pro-LIFE.
Pure whitetrash. Domino’s is one of the better paying fast food places so I don’t know what these two pigs think they will do for work when they get out of jail. NO ONE will hire them now. The chick looks like a meth hooker.
aren’t you vegan? pizza?
What, you’ve never heard of pizza without cheese, or with soy cheese…?

It’s so funny how everyone just thinks vegans eat sticks and grass all day. ;)
Nice job on the HTML, me.

But what about everything else that goes into a pizza. It’s not just the cheese. I haven’t had Pizza Hut in awhile but last time, it felt like my entire pizza was deep fried.
Hmmm. Maybe I’m crazy but I feel sorry for them…I’ve had a number of jobs where the work itself was so dehumanizing that the employees felt it necessary to get back at their employer — I though this was common in McJobs. I worked at a coffee bar where people would steal muffins because their breaks were so infrequent they were starving half the time. I worked for a yacht captain who stole our tips, so the employees drank all the booze one night. Yes, they’re probably too old for this shit but what are the odds some stupid 20 year old is going to get back at their boss by doing something stupid and put it up on youtube? I think pretty high. If you’re in your teens or twenties you’ve probably already displayed some serious lack fo judgement in your ‘online persona’ through embarassing photos, Youtube, etc. if the consequences are jail-time where is the space to be young and stupid? Gawd knows I’ve done some seriously stupid shit….
Are you nuts? Tampering with food that people are going to eat is not being “young and stupid”. It is unhealthy and dangerous. Sneezing, and putting food up your nose can give people serious illnesses. Drinking the alcohol or stealing muffins, ONLY gets back at the employer (and in a VERY minimal way, so its not even a comparison), in this case they used the comsumers health as a pawn. They deserve to be punished so that others will think twice when doing things like this in the future, dont you think its important to some what be able to trust food prepared by others?
And “dehumanizing” to work at dominos? I wouldnt go that far.
Petty theft from co-workers or your company is not the same thing as jeopardizing a person’s health. Now, if your fellow baristas were jacking off into the creamer, that would be the same thing.
Um, most jobs are dehumanizing.
That doesn’t mean we have the right to put our bodily fluids into the food we serve to people.
You know I had a bad experience with Domino’s. I have not been back since it happened. My fiance and I had ordered pizza and I have this card that has different restaurants on it with the discounts it was some school fundraiser. Well the guy at the counter obviously didn’t understand it and he thought it was something they could keep so he puts in a bag. So I was like hey that isn’t something you guys keep. I wasn’t being mean or anything about it. So anyways I heard a guy in the back say something about a spit pizza and I was like excuse me did you just say you were going to spit in my pizza? well anyways we didn’t want to take any chances so we left and haven’t been back since.
Hey yeayeah :)
Perhaps my comparison is a little off, and certainly public health is a huge issue, but I think this case is a bit of a ‘game-changer’ in terms of the ability of a company to sue employees based on bad behaviour they’ve video-taped. If they hadn’t done such disgusting things to the food and had instead say, taken a bath in the sink (I think that was a fast-food employee video on youtube for a while), would we be cool about them potentially going to jail? Because where does it stop? What level of bad employee behaviour and what level of online documentation results in jail time? Remember, ther is no proof that this food was actually served to customers. The employees even claim it never was. I think thats the interesting things for me….oh, and dehumanizing, yes. They may not be beaten or tortured on the job but yes, fast food jobs are called McJobs for a reason — having to deal with nasty customers, boring work that teaches few to no skills, pay scale that prays on young people subsidized by their families (free rent, free food), and hiring policies based on state subsidies that pay you when you hire a new employee and therefore stimulating short work-term cycles to attract new subsidy money.
DUH of course they claim that. Like they would really say that they served the food.
I prefer to eat in places where you can see them making your food, like Subway.
Me too! That’s one of the reasons I love hibachi.
It’s amazing how one stupid move can ruin your life forever… or a few stupid moves for the girl.
I only go to restuarants where you can SEE them make the food. I’ve heard horror stories about diners too, I will spare your stomachs the gory details but let’s just say it involves a bodily function only men are capable of.
Actually, all delivery food in Mexico, is either you get in in 30 minutes, or it’s free. So it’s a big shock to me, that in here is absolutely not the same, they come whenever they feel like, it’s ALWAYS fucking cold, and they ALWAYS forget something!!! I hate delivery food and the delivery guys too. lol.
you order pizza hut and you live in seattle? one of the great foodie cities in america. maybe tom douglas’s serious pie doesn’t deliver but i am sure there is something better than pizza hut.
Just what i needed
Just what i needed. Thanks for writing, I really liked your most recent post.
